1. What it is

A time-constrained process of multiple activities that requires you to leave your “comfort zone” and investigate new markets, products, and business models unfamiliar before.

2.When to Use It

When exploring a larger theme, such as 'sustainability', or a new industry.

Map: We usually start our explorations with an open-ended questionnaire to our community of experts, innovators, and entrepreneurs. Our aim is to gather input on their current views and experiences, which we synthesize into themes and questions for our upcoming programming.

Learn: We facilitate a set of expert-led conversations around the themes of the explorations. While the opinions expressed in these conversations include a diverse set of points-of-view and angles, they do not represent a singular, holistic view of the world. Instead, we view them as dots on a map that point us to areas in which we need to probe deeper and which we need to explore further. Ideally, these conversations result in being able to identify areas of tension and hence opportunities to work and think differently to resolve them.

Do: We augment the insights from our exploration conversations with additional research and translate them into actionable recommendations and next steps that are relevant to our business clients and community.
